Meet our team
Sophie Fuller – “Paramedic Sophie”
Sophie Fuller is a critical care paramedic, flight paramedic, and president of the Tennessee Association of EMS Providers. A passionate advocate for leadership development and the evolution of modern EMS culture, she focuses on mentorship, training, and reshaping the way EMS professionals grow within the field. Through public speaking engagements, educational outreach, and social media, Sophie challenges outdated industry norms and pushes for progressive change in leadership, education, and provider development.
As a co-founder and host of Life and Sirens, she fosters open conversations about the realities of EMS, advocating for a stronger, more supportive profession. With a strong presence on social media as @ParamedicSophie, she uses digital platforms to engage with EMS providers worldwide, sharing insights, educational content, and discussions on the future of emergency medicine.
Jaime Wesley – “Jaimbulance”
Jaime Wesley is a Critical Care Paramedic with nearly a decade of experience in high-acuity, fast-paced prehospital medicine. She has spent her career not only working on the truck but also shaping the future of EMS through education, protocol development, and quality improvement. As a Field Training Officer, she has played a key role in training new generations of providers and refining prehospital care.
With a bachelor’s degree in biology and psychology, Jaime brings a unique perspective to critical care and patient management. She earned her Paramedic and Critical Care certifications through Columbia State Community College and Vanderbilt LifeFlight. She is also a co-founder of Life and Sirens, an EMS education and advocacy podcast dedicated to pushing the profession forward.

Aubrey Lukis – “Hippie Paramedic”
Aubrey Lukis is a dedicated field paramedic with a passion for patient care, education, and advancing EMS practices. Since beginning their EMS career in 2019, Aubrey has gained extensive experience in prehospital emergency medicine and became a licensed paramedic in 2023.
With a strong commitment to professional growth and innovation, Aubrey is actively involved in EMS education, protocol development, and exploring ways to integrate new technology into emergency medical services. They are passionate about improving prehospital care, enhancing operational efficiency, and finding solutions that make the job easier and safer for EMS providers.
Beyond the ambulance, Aubrey co-hosts Life in Sirens, a podcast featuring three female paramedics discussing the realities of EMS—from educational topics to the personal challenges of working in the field. They are also expanding the Life in Sirens brand through merchandise and educational materials, aiming to support and connect with fellow first responders.
In addition to their work in EMS, Aubrey enjoys hiking, outdoor adventures, and 3D printing, often using their technical skills to create practical tools and innovations for the EMS community.
